I read the book Wolf Cry. It is about two kids name Min and Jim. Their Grandpa is coming to stay with them. When he first comes they donít like him. They think he is weird. Then one night Grandpa tells them a story about a little boy named Ruff. Ruff got lost in the jungle when he followed a bird. When it starts to get dark, a wolf finds him and the wolf brings him into her family.

I liked the book because some stories, like Little Red Riding Hood, are always making the wolf look like the bad guy.  In Wolf Cry, the wolf was the one who took the little boy into her family like he was one of her pups.

I did not like it when Ruff got lost.  They did not say much about his parents.  It seemed like they looked for him for only one day and then stopped looking for him.

I would recommend this book for someone who likes outdoor adventure.  If not, I would not recommend it to them.

A lesson that I learned form this book is not to judge someone by the way they look or if they act different from you.  Min and Jim did not llike grandpa at first but once they found out how he was raised, the understood him better.  So before judging anyone, get to know them first.
