The story Julie of the wolves is a story of a girl named Miyax.  Miyax, or Julie, is a girl that started traveling to a port in Alaska so she can get to her pen pal in San Francisco.  She ends traveling with a wolf pack and makes a new friend.  Later in the book they spit up and meet again and Miyax has to make a choice,

I think this was an O.K. book because it could have been better.  The main thing I liked about the book was the character.  They were so full of details and they were so different than the other types of adventure books.  I think the author really put a lot of time into the characters.  I also liked the way that the wolves were the good guys and not the bad peoples.  They need a break from all the myths.

The part I did not like is that the ending was bad.  It was just so unfitting for the characters.  I mean, come on, Julie giving up her ways? Another thing that I don't like is Julie giving up that's just not like her.  Don't get me wrong it was a good book but I'm just saying that it could use a little work.

I think the book Julie of the Wolves is an OK book because the plot and the characters were very good but the ending could use a little work.  If you are someone that likes animals, nature, and a good adventure story I think this would be a good book for you.

Two things that I learned from this story is to never give up, always give it your best, and bad things can change into good things if you know what to look for and were to look for it.
