Sequence of Instruction:
1. Students  read the novel, Julie of the Wolves
2. While reading the book, students complete a chart comparing the book's references to wolf communication and pack organization with those on the webpages "What is a Wolf?"
3. Have students use their notebooks and fold a page in half, the long way. On one side put "Julie of the Wolves." Put "Webpage" on the other side. Have students record their findings using the divisions of the webpages "What is a wolf?"

Closure: Afterwards, have students write an essay comparing their findings to answer the question, "Is the information in the book accurate?"
