What did the Ojibwe people use for medicines?

The Ojibwe indians used herbs, plant roots, plant leaves, and tree bark for medicines.

On a cut or scrape the Ojibwe used tree sap to cover the wound.  The sap was used like a bandage and kept out bacteria and other germs.

Some times when someone was sick they would put leaches on the stick person.  The leaches were
used to suck out blood which they said would suck out the sickness.
