Kick the Can Hide and seek
Tag
Mumbletypeg
Kick the can is a very exciting game. In fact my Dad tells me all the time of his kick the can days. The objective of this game is to have one person guarding the can and everybody else hides. Then the hiders try to kick the can that the guard is watching so that the guard does not see them. If the person gets tagged before they kick the can they go to jail. Not real jail just a square that is called the jail. If the person kicks the can before the guard sees them that person is the new guard. Most of you still play this game. The objective in this game is to have many hiders and one seeker. The seeker's job is to look for the hiders. If the seeker gives up, the hiding team wins. If the seeker finds everybody, the seeker gets to pick a hider to seek. Then the whole thing starts over once again.  Now all the other games I have told you about have a point to them, but tag has no point to  it what so ever. There is a tagger and  whole lot of people that just run around trying to get away from the tagger. When the tagger tags someone that person is then it and they have to go around and tag someone else. Mumbeltypeg is one of the more unheard of games from way back when but it is a fun one. The objective of this game is to throw a jacknife in the air and try to get it to stick in the ground. After you have accomplished that you can pick it up in different ways from you mouth or whatever. Then it is the next persons turn to do something with the knife. Now you know what mumbletypeg is.
