The Altoona Music Boosters

The Altoona Music Boosters is a service organization and is made up of interested parents of Band and/or Choir students. Some (but certainly not all) of the major functions of the boosters include assisting with fundraising, chaperoning trips, assisting with festivals hosted by Altoona, scholarships to summer music camps, and generally helping to represent the interests of the music program. Meetings are scheduled monthly, and for the 08-09 school year they will be held on the first Monday of every month (unless otherwise announced in advance) beginning in September of 2008. Officers for the 2008-2009 Altoona Music Boosters are: Jeff Doering, president, Dale Bontje, vice president, Dawn Kroehn, secretary, Kim Zimmerman, treasurer, and Karen Nelson as Middle School Liason.
