This year the band is scheduled to perform in 4 fall and 1 spring parade, as well as performing 2 half-time and pre-game shows during football season. The halftime show theme for the `13-`14 school year is "The Hunger Games", and will feature music from the soundtrack of The Hunger Games movie. Our pep band schedule includes 15 regularly scheduled pep band appearances, although students may expect extra pep band performances to be announced during the sports seasons. As these extra performances are not on the announced and published schedule for the school year students will earn extra credit points for performing at these. These extra pep band performances also DO count towards lettering in band at the end of the school year. There are also 3 seasonal concerts and commencement on June 4th at which the concert group will perform. The band also performs once a year at WSMA sponsored large group festival. This year Fall Creek hosts the Western Cloverbelt High School District Solo and Ensemble, and Chippewa Falls McDonell will host Western Cloverbelt Large Group Festival on April 17th. Please see the event calendar on our home page for dates. Solo and ensemble student event times are scheduled 2 weeks prior to the event. High School Solo and Ensemble will be held on April 5th and Fall Creek High School. Please note that this date for Solo and Ensemble has been changed to April 5th by the host school (Fall Creek).
